Would You Consider The Horizon Franchise A "System Seller"?

Is Horizon really hittin like that?

I know Sony is expecting Horizon to be the killer app for PSVR2 at launch but anybody get the feeling that nobody really cares about Horizon like that? I mean is doesn't have the rabid fanbase of like God of War for example.

they are good games but I don't believe they will move consoles like Sony thinks it will

Nah. Good games (borrow heavily from Assassins Creed) where both iterations got overshadowed by actual system sellers.

I got my ps4pro back in 2017 for Horizon.

Its a B+ franchise in sonys library, which is considerably better than the A games the competition is offering.

I would call it a system seller on the PS4 for the first game at that time. On the PS5 not so much. Still a solid game but I'm not running out to get a console for it.

I think so. Don't know why the game has this perceived "lesser" quality to it when it's a really high ranking game. It's like everytime it's discussed here it's as if it's some "mid" when it would be hailed as a GOTY candidate had it been a multiplatform game.
