Would you call JR Smith an underachiever?

who thought he was going to be some superstar anyway?

he's currently averaging 17/5/3 which is pretty damn good.

That retard isn't worth it. He's been able to put up those numbers because of Woodson's system. Put him anywhere else he's the same JR in Denver, he's all smoke and mirrors. I give it to Woodson for having faith in him.

So if you take the shackles off a player and allow them to play the game to their strengths you have a "system"? No that's called COACHING. This "system" term is waaaaaaay over-used.

Bronx, NYC
Gerald Green
Martell Webster
Jason Richardson
Marcus Thornton
Brandon Rush
Courtney Lee
Richard Jefferson
Chase Budinger
Dorrell Wright
Mickeal Pietrus
Paul George

All of these guys have (or in a case or two, had) the ability to hit threes and finish at the rim at level or around the level J.R. does, but none of these guys are All Stars or are likely to ever be All Stars, just like J.R. I don't think J.R. is much if any more talented than any of these guys, even though I think he uses his talent better than most of the younger dudes on the list.

Was this nikka serious brehs?

Nick Young is an underachiever. He should be a superstar. I'd say JR is having a breakout season.

JR Smith and Gerald Green are two of the lowest IQ bball players ive seen. They had top 10 bball talent :snoop:

I remember when Green lit up Kobe(when kobe was the best bball player on the planet) at the (Boston) Garden :snoop:

Underachiever

I thought he was the next Ray Allen.

People forget, when Ray first came into the league, he was a better athlete than he was a shooter. He was always a good shooter, but he wasn't quite the great shooter he became later in his career.

I thought JR would take a similar path.Good shooter, but even better athlete.

I figured his game would mellow out and he'd become more of a shooter as his game progressed. He's a streaky great shooter, but he lacks the consistency.By his 3rd-4th year in the league, Ray became a consistently great shooter.

I still think JR could reach that level if he kept his mind right. The talent is there
