Junior actually made big strides in his game. when he first came to the Nugs he had poor ball handling skills and was basically Daequan Cook with hops.

he's a very good passer with underrated court vision (the JR/Nene PnR was deadly) and a good defender when he wants to be. his problem isn't work ethic, it's lack of focus.

I've been a fan of JR's his whole career. He's too inconsistent and has a low bball iq.
He has moments that'll have you like :stop:  :what::dwillhuh::ooh::leon::pachaha: all in a minute span.

he is a good defender and from what i seen never let his poor shooting moments interfere with the effort he gave, would love him back on the Knicks

He's not an underachiever.

Despite whatever physical gifts he has, he has never been a high IQ player and he will probably never understand the pace of a basketball game. If you had high hopes for him you are a poor judge of talent.

;et's see:

very low IQ
horrible defender
can't handle the ball
Attitude issues

Dispite all these weaknesses, J.R has been decent contributer to his teams especailly off the bench.

So, J.R is not an underachiever.
