Would you be in favor of government limits on the amount of sodium that can be put into processed food?

Salt reduction program?

This sounds like right-wing bullshyt. Enforcing laws that hold corporations accountable for their actions doesn't "make the lazy people become lazier". That doesn't even make sense.

And I really don't give a shyt about your personal judgments, because public health crises still affect the rest of us no matter how judgemental you are.

Obesity rates and poor eating habits are FAR worse among the Black and Latino communities than they are among White people. Do you think that's just because White people are better than Black and Brown people? You think they're just not lazy, that's the only difference?
Dont try to group me with some political BS u fukking weirdo. Read what ur eating and stop being a blind fat ass. Problem solved

I really started reading labels in the grocery store last year as i began to focus on losing weight.

Almost EVERYTHING in mainstream grocery stores is either high in sugar or sodium
this is what prompts most people to leverage and understand food labels. that's why i laugh at the idea we should lean on changing the habits of 300M people vs capping what companies are doing. there are a lot of people, fat and thin, who don't have anything prompting them to read labels (ie they're not fat so weight loss aint a motivator, or they're happily fat).

and what about kids who don't have any authority over what their unhealthy or unknowledgeable parents buy? we banned cigs indoors because secondhand smoke damages people who did nothing but be subject to someone else's actions, but we won't cap sugar and salt and we should just let kids be subject to their parents poor decisions?

To be fair, 190mg isn't that bad for one serving.

Now if you're just dumping half the bottle on whatever you're eating that's a different story :hubie:moderation is key
