Would Ralph Cifaretto have changed?

The thing with Pie O My is whether Ralphie did or not is almost beside the point (although I think he did it, and Chase has nearly confirmed it in an interview), because Tony killing Ralphie was as much about Tracee the Bing stripper who Ralphie killed. There's even a shot at the end of the episode with Tony looking at a photo of her at the Bing. No doubt Tony has also shown a love an empathy with animals (way more than people) throughout the show, but it was inevitable that Tony was gonna take Ralphie out after the Tracee incident.

I miss it so much
With every rewatch I grow to dislike Tony even more. The last three seasons it's clear that he's is a despicable piece of shyt. Dude tried to bring down anyone around him. Think of that scene with Janus when she is trying to deal with her anger issues and it looks like she's made some progress, then Tony purposely goads her to make her flip. This kinda sums up Tony. It's a crabs in a barrel mentality. If he can't change to be a better person or be happy then no one else can. Same with the way he was always fukking with Chrissy for being sober.

I feel like Succession is a young contender right now. Has the potential to be a GOAT tier show.
You should watch Deadwood if you haven't. To me it's neck and neck with The Sopranos and The Wire. All 3 are brilliant and still in a league of their own.

The more I rewatch the more I despise Tony. Chase's whole "why would you want to see him die" excuse for the finale is bullshyt. Tony was very convenient about when he chose to give a shyt. He was the only one upset about Ralph killing Tracy, everyone else was indifferent.

Tony is a criminal, born into that life. Given no choice by his abusive family. The rest were the same . Christopher was a junkie like his father. Sil was a industrialist . He cared about Tracey because she owed him money. Paulie was the worse of the bunch by far.
Tone cared about Arther, he never let him get to deep into his world and he listens to him , he gave that soccer coach a pass because of Artie.
T cared about his first side girl. He got her a job, sent her out to get mental help when she was breaking down. Gave her money to move on. He cared about Big p*ssy. He also cared about the doctor who came to all his card games. He never pressed him or extorted him either. So to say despise him when you have Janice who was a piece of shyt who left her son. Didn’t work and was a phony . You have Chris , who was given multiple passes by the T and the crew and failed at every job he was given. You have the worse of the worse in Carmella who enables him at every turn. Tone was right in everything he said about her. Yeah he cheated but she took the money he gave her. She also cheated on him but never came clean.

Tony never came clean to Carmela he just got caught cheating because the Russian mistress blabbed.
And Chris failed at staying clean but he was Tony's main go to for heavy shyt. He killed the Czech guy, Junior's driver Mike, the retired cop and Jimmy Alteiri, he assisted in disposing of Richie April's and Ralph Ciferetto, set up Feech all cause Tony asked. He was actually fairly competent on big shyt and none of it got back to anyone because Chris blabbed.
