I said top 5 just due to his accomplishments and I do think some of his skills/assets would translate but two things working against Stockton is he wasn’t lights out as a shooter and his wasn’t big nor athletic,also I never seen him in another system to know if he could really flourish and he played with a legendary PF every year.

Also keep in mind it’s only TWO really small PG’s doing big work today and that’s Paul and Young both 6’0-6’1 the science and facts are not on Stockton side IMO

His scoring went down drastically because he stopped taking shots. For example, his best scoring season, he averaged 17.2 while taking 11 shots.

Let him play in this fast paced era, and see his scoring jump to 22-24 pts a game easily while taking 15-16 shots a game.

Defensively, he definitely would not be a liability because he was only 6’1. Height didn’t hurt CP and it definitely wouldn’t hurt stockton
