Fixed.

Injuries to Paul or Harden wouldn't matter. Dream took a bunch of bums to the Finals and won in 94. Dude was such a force on both sides of the court, GSW wouldn't have any answers for him.
No they wouldn’t have an answer for him but he’ll need at least one superstar teammate and perimeter shooting to beat the current Warriors and that’s what he’d have there.

Hakeem wasnt better than Steph, KD, Harden, LeBron, Embiid, etc.
Are you saying Hakeem wasn't better than Embiid? :mindblown:
Bro there's nothing to argue, you don't even remember/know Hakeem was considered undersized. You don't know what you're talking about :yeshrug:

How many of you are even old enough to have watched Dream to even answer this question?

This is why I stay out of basketball arguments. Y'all be tripping like there can't possibly be anybody better than your favorite current player. PLUS... all these conversations go on like padding offensive stats are the only thing that matter.

At his peak, Dream was leading the league in blocks and steals (AS A CENTER) while leading his team in scoring and assists. He slapped a 6 seed on his back and carried his squad to a championship with a sweep in the finals (yes, Jordan played that year.) Honestly, and I know this is going to get dude's fired up, Lebron and maybe KD on your list can even a reasonable argument to being better than Olajuwon at any point in their career.

Here's a list of accomplishments that Embiid will never do in his career: (I left out leading the league in blocks and steals in the same season multiple times out.)

Most points scored without free throw attempt in a game: 48
Third player in NBA history to record a quadruple-double in a game
Most locked shots, career
: 3,830
Steals by a center, career: 2,162
Steals by a center, season: 213
Only player in NBA history to record 200 blocks and 200 steals in the same season: 282 blocks, 213 steals (1988–89)

Seasons with 200 blocks and 100 steals: 11 Only twelve players in NBA history have achieved this feat once in the same season.
Only player in NBA history to win regular season MVP, Finals MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season (1993–94)
Only center in NBA history to record at least 200 steals in a season
Closest player in NBA history to recording a quintuple double

  • 38 points, 17 rebounds, 6 assists, 7 steals, 12 blocks in a double-overtime game against the Seattle SuperSonics on March 10, 1987
  • 28 points, 19 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 steals, 11 blocks in a regulation game against the Golden State Warriors on March 3, 1994
Only player in NBA history to lead his team in averaging 4 out of 5 main categories for 8 straight seasons (minimum 50 games)

  • Olajuwon led his team in averaging points, rebounds, steals, and blocks from the 1985/86 to 1992/93 seasons, and again in 1994/95
Most seasons in a row with 150 blocks and 100 steals

  • 12 seasons in a row (1985-86 - 1996-97)
Only player in NBA history to lead his team in all 5 categories (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks) on to the NBA title: (1994 NBA Playoffs)
Only player in NBA history to win an NBA Championship without a Hall of Famer or All star In the 4-Round Playoff Format: (1994 NBA Playoffs)
Field goals made, one postseason: 306 (1995)
Steals, quarter: 4, at Los Angeles Lakers, April 25, 1996
Highest average, blocked shots per game, career: 3.3 (472/145)

Blocked shots, one postseason: 92 (1994)

Blocked shots, 4-game series: 23, vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 1990 Western Conference First Round (5.8 bpg)

  • Also holds second place

Blocked shots, game: 10, at Los Angeles Lakers, April 29, 1990

I'M OUT OF HERE!

Embiid is a discount Hakeem and he’s dominating. So... yea.
Embiid is not a “discount” Hakeem

He can do many of the things Hakeem can do while being much bigger in height and mass and more explosive athletically.

Hakeem is still better but they are very similar at the same stage of development in fact Embiid’s age 24 season is more dominant than Hakeem’s age 24 season.

These dudes just post anything without even fact checking shyt. Got dudes trying to talk about players that were playing or retired before they were even born. You can easily tell who watches games and who doesn't.
