No! Only the cities across Manhattan or close to Manhattan.

South Jersey isn’t expensive at all but the major cities down there like Camden and AC are sh*tholes.

I’m not sure if Newark is expensive but perhaps look there? They have a PATH subway into Manhattan and the NJIT buses and trains that also go into Manhattan!
shyt or even the towns along the NJT rail lines..

I think the trains goes all the way down to Long Branch in Monmouth county

Nah far from a shythole...

A shythole = Camden...

Philly is 1 hr

NYC is like 2.5-3 Hrs.

It's entertainment year round
crime isn't terrible
Plenty of black people
Good cuisine...

shyt can't be worse than fukking Poughkeepsie.

Any specifics parts of AC that are nice? Each time I go all I see is the casinos and crappy neighborhoods lol.

I thought Jersey was NYC expensive

What are the affordable cities please?
Northern New Jersey is hella expensive. Car insurance is the highest in the nation. The entire United States.
Parts of middle New Jersey are expensive. Around Princeton University.
Atlantic City is cheap but is dying, and high crime.
Southern New Jersey can be inexpensive, but skip Camden. You would be better off living in Philadelphia.

In other words, you're better off just getting a decent spot in Philly and come to NYC on weekends. Too many negatives in Jersey for various reasons.

I wouldn't live in New Jersey. The nice neighborhoods are way too expensive. The affordable neighborhoods are trash. There's no in between.
And I would never move back to Poughkeepsie. :camby:
