Worst plot twist in a game ever?

It was a long series of retcons to make sense of a storyline that was never designed to be a connected coherent story.

I feel like MGS4 did the best it could to make everything fit together. Honestly I tried to play 5 but I only made it through the prologue and dropped it. Hearing it's an unfinished mess of a story doesn't make me wanna finish it.

Play the game breh. The gameplay is phenomenal, everyone knew the story was gonna be trash because japanese devs cant write, but thats not why you play the game

Just that release of that game was batshyt....turnips, a fukking dinosaur that spits eggs...tripping balls is not even the phrase for what that game was...

Was never crazy about the first one, but when I got Super Mario Bros. 2 I was like at how different it was. Loved it. Wasn't till I started going on gaming forums in my late teens I found out people didn't like it

They need to just reset the entire franchise and start from MGS1 (Playstation) and remaster it using the MGS5 engine

MGS 3 with the MGS 5 engine

I honestly wouldn't mind if they remade Metal Gear 1&2

MGS4's epilogue destroys 30 years worth of storyline in one hour.

I swear I hate that mgs4 ruined some major plots about the series for me.
