You're on a hiphop forum and you can't understand how music can convey messages? Do you not see the irony in this?

Not without words. Without words then its subjective.

For instance Ambitionz of a Ryda without the words doesnt convey the emotion that Pac was shooting for with that song.

That is subjective friend. Cant do it can you? :mjlol:
I did. You just lack the emotional maturity to comprehend, like small children. That`s fine since music denotes intelligence which was my point back at post 320 & 369.

Moving the goalpost doesn't refute this fact.

I did. You just lack the emotional maturity to comprehend, like a child.

:mjlol: And yet you said this earlier:

. If you still have a problem understanding the concept, try using a pattern of sounds on a dog, a cat, a fish, and a 5-year-old child and see which one can repeat it.

Now its "I lack the emotional maturity" :mjlol: You failed breh. You havent shown that music is a universal language that can be understood UNIVERSALLY without words. Now you're contradicting yourself

That`s fine since music denotes intelligence which was my point back at post 369.

:umad:

Well I myself wasnt discussing that friend. They said math was a universal language. I've yet to see that exemplified. Then you came and say music is a universal language. And yet all the music you have and can present is subjective. You dont think everyone on earth will hear a certain song (with no words) and feel the same emotion would you? Or would they view the song thru their own selective eyes and come out with different feelings due to their different experiences? Then you throw insults around because I dont see it the way you do :scusthov:

So at the end of the day, you failed (terribly) at showing that music is a universal language that can communicate IDEAS, FEELINGS, EMOTIONS, etc.. to another being.

You still don't get it. I stated music (math) is universal since it communicates intelligence. You've tried to move the goalpost to human emotions and, thereby, destroyed your own argument. Human emotions are inapplicable to non-human beings.

What you attempted to discuss was immaterial and has no bearing on the point I made.

You utterly fail to construct or refute logical arguments.

Well, as I said, we were not discussing whether math or music communicates intelligence. What they said was math is the universal language. So that is the discussion till you come in from left field with all this other stuff that still isnt right :mjlol:

You've tried to move the goalpost to human emotions and, thereby, destroyed your own argument. Human emotions are inapplicable to non-human beings.

:mjpls:
Sure it is. It communicates emotions. This is why every culture that has ever existed has used it.

:mjlol: I moved the goal posts? This is what you said not me

What you attempted to discuss was immaterial and has no bearing on the point I made.

You utterly fail to construct or refute logical arguments.
 & :umad:

So you came in the thread, responded to something I TYPED, and then started a brand new argument? :childplease:

You're still lost. I was discussing the use of math to communicate intelligence and you got lost discussing a red herring somewhere between post 320 & 369.

:umad: & confused.

I wonder how this addresses how you said a child could understand then later contradict yourself and say I cant understand because of my childlike maturity? I wonder how this addresses how you said I moved the goalposts by bringing human emotions into it, when YOU were the first to bring emotions into it? I wonder how this addresses how you said this:

Music IS a 'universal language'.

But now you're trying to say that you meant in communicates intelligence? Oh it doesnt address any of these things :mjlol: Go ahead and walk into the sunset friend. We'll pretend this convo never happened

You have comprehension issues. I've been discussing math as a form of communicating intelligence since post 320. See post 393 for a reference. You keep trying to move the goalpost and failing.

That was not the conversation friend is what I keep explaining. No one was asking "can one communicate using music?". One was saying that math was the universal language. Then I ask you to communicate an emotion using music, and when you cant do it you resort to insults :lolbron:

Then we had you implying that a 5 year old could understand it then saying that I could not understand because of my childlike maturity. :mjlol:

Then we had you saying that I moved the goal posts by including emotions when it was YOU that first included emotions :mjlol:

Of course you've ignored these for two straight posts. So at the moment you're saying its only about communicating intelligence though the context of the convo when you jumped in was UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE. Ah ok so why was this said again

If you still have a problem understanding the concept, try using a pattern of sounds on a dog, a cat, a fish, and a 5-year-old child and see which one can repeat it.

Come on breh. This is getting sad with you reaching for so many straws lol. The sunset is over there -------------------------------------------------------->

Walk towards it. We'll act as if nothing happened I promise.

But you know none of your fellow brethren thought music was the universal language right? :mjlol:

Not to mention what you brought forth was fiction. How can you say musical notes are the universal language? Im sure you wouldnt go there, but if you want to I'll let you do it yourself.

I haven't been in this thread in a while, but music is the other universal language.

Maybe not language, but it is one of the few things that is universal.

You're still off on a tangent due to chasing a red herring. Human emotions are not universal, but math is. Music is a form of math and, therefore, universal.

That has been my point since post 320. Nothing you've posted has refuted it.

Your argument is one logical fallacy.

The thing they said, is that math was a universal language. Not simply, "universal". Just a universal language. I disagree with that sentiment and no one has displayed how thats so...
