Damn articulated all my thoughts about Jr and the fight. I think having his Pops in his corner is catching up he needs a quality trainer shyt I can’t even remember any instructions he was given to make any adjustments.

Yup

I think a good offensive coach like Roach or Sanchez would do wonders for Eubanks jr.

He doesn't need to change his approach completely, just make it more effective. His whole style needs fine tuning. He gave Groves all he could handle with just reckless aggression. Groves barely beat him imo. If that fight is in Vegas that shyt would be a draw or Groves by 115-113 across the board.

Groves is B level at best an Jr is C+ or B minus at best. Ring IQ was the only thing separating them really. If it wasn't for Jr's effort, we'd all be talking about how boring that fukking fight was because Groves was almost economical to a fault.

I rather train a wild ass nikka that lets his hands go then some super talented cat that won't, so Eubanks definitely has the potential to improve.

the difference was groves was that way with jr as part of a game plan..thats not how he usually fights..he prolly wanted jr to gas himself..groves usually does let his hands go

I've seen Groves fight plenty of times and he usually does move his hands more, but it's usually in the first half of fights. He kinda fizzles out toward the end. Seemed like he was conscious about that this time around.

Yeah he paced himself better because he knew getting into a battle of attrition with eubanks is not the best idea

This mfer Braehmer just withdrew.
Smith is fighting Holzken a career kick-boxer, boxing on the side.

Seems fishy... I can imagine the withdrawal being a bullshyt what they pulled to slide Braehmer into the final if Groves won’t make it.

Had no idea Holzken had switched over to boxing fulltime, can't see this going well
