I used to heavily rely on pre-workout during college and before I had my 9-5. Now I only have coffee and that's in the morning, I hit the gym after work and I guess since my tolerance is kinda high a can of C4 doesn't really do much for me. Then I tried two scoops of this pre I got from Amazon, it worked, but it worked too well and I couldn't go to sleep until 4 AM, on a weeknight. So I'm good for now, not tryna stay up all night just to get amped up for an evening workout, been off it since. And I used to crave that feeling to get ready/during my workout.

Doc told me lay off that shyt. Now a nikka drinking green tea before workouts :birdman: shyts depressing.

I miss that geeked /jittery /coked up feeling walking into the gym :mjcry:

Daily blood pressure lowered like a mf tho

Shout out primary care physician :manny:
I ain't gon lie, this was my main benefit of using pre. Call me crazy but when I felt that jittery feeling I know it's working, which helps me have a great workout.:ohlawd:

Its 2 miles to and fro..not long about 35mins depending on my hip, leg and back.

I had limb lengthening surgery and prior to that I was playing football when i shouldnt have with a 4cm difference in my femurs. Thus I have a pinched femural nerve, degenerative arthritis (early) left hip, arthritic knee, 2xbulging discs, 1x degenerating.

My shyt hurts 247 but if I dont get this weight off me I fear Imma be wheelchair bound again. And that is my personal hell.

The Walker is amazing and I shouldve been using one, but when I went all out to be a firefighter that put so much strain on my last physical chance i had at being normal. That exasperated the ailments from having a short leg.

Im not on any drugs, just deal with the pain and focus on decompressions and strengthening the muscles around the discs. Deadlifting so far has done wonders, but I need the reverse hyper machine.
Freak Athlete has the best one out right now, but it’s like $600

I get you. I was basically saying get it in. I was going to say you have to sacrifice, but I don't agree to that. It should be a priority. Going to work is a priority. Raising the kids and all that is a priority, working out should be a priority right along with those things.

Definiitely. For me, whenever i used to work morning shifts, i had to work out immediately after work. Otherwise i'd fall asleep. But i still had to take a Celcius or something. I love coffee but i get gasses and go to the bathroom and i end up feeling bloated. Its better to drink in the morning or before work for me.

Celcius and those energi drinks really gets me working and i feel great afterwards. Otherwise i'll fall asleep or dont work out as good. But i know it aint good.

I try to only drink 1 energi drink and not coffee (maybe only tea) the rest of the day whenever i do.

That ain’t no damn pre workout :heh: Too heavy, too slow digesting.

Wheat toast w/ peanut butter, oatmeal w/ some type of nuts pause, protein shake, whey, Greek yogurt. Plenty of options all to be taken about an hour before

But that’s all for nutritional. These “pre workout” junkies take it for energy. That’s a separate need. For that you should only workout for an hour you don’t need to be jacked on all that shyt. Tea, a gallon of water throughout your workout, and a good playlist should. be all thr energy you need

Been doing this for 20 years. I’ve been on that pre workout supplement hype. It ain’t worth the money.

Real food >>> Supplements

Unless you’re competing, then have at it.

Nah I’m on your side not needing supplements I was just saying a full meal before workout is crazy. But everybody schedule/body is different I guess
