Unraveling the arc of a character's development through the trials and tribulations they may go through is the best part of a story, IMO.

Not surprising. I don't know anyone personally at my current gig, doing this though. Then again my company is like 80% burmese--the work culture is different.

Most of them don't speak English as a first language. They are still very much into the culture they left behind(most of them are fresh to the country). They are very into their work, and are quiet, humble people(that's the best way to explain them). They aren't into small talk and are very straight to the point. They're pretty family orientated people though. So like they always hire family members, and have their wives and husbands and kids come up to the job. People have baby showers, at each other houses, and have game nights at each others houses--and they bring their kids and their wives or husbands along--it's never just them hanging out with the opposite sex alone. And they don't invite anyone that isn't asian, lol.

It's a food business, so food is provided at my job, and we all eat, and have cocktails, regularly, but we do it while we work--so it's very light socializing.. There's no happy hour or anything that takes place, and if it does, again it's only the asians that are invited, they really just stick to their own. Now there are a handful whites and a handful of BW(like myself)--but we all follow the dominant culture, which is the burmese culture.... The white men, I've noticed seem to be buddy, buddy, but there are like 3 other WW, and two are very overweight... I'll put it that way. The rest are BW, and we all kind stick with each other. I mean I've never once gotten the feeling that anyone is having affairs, or dating each other, because the workplace is pretty quiet all day long. People generally do a 40 hour work week and go home after to their families. And only the white people try to get in your business, but they rarely are successful, because the asians (and the rest of us) aren't interested in engaging and we don't have to, because they aren't the dominant culture at the company and can't dictate shyt.

I find it weird that outside of one summer internship (and my high school job at old navy), I’ve never worked in a place where I’ve come across someone I’d want to smash. Could be an effect of working in tech and mostly smaller companies, but even in the couple big ones, there was no one I came in contact with frequently who I was attracted to.

Yup I do the same shyt. I did smash chicks in other departments because I knew I would see them rarely if shyt went south. But being one of the few blacks the hating was out there. Always stayed away from married women. Never been my thing. Plus them types of bytches want to talk your ear off. I'm cordial but when them cacs get too personal and chatty I hit them with the and they They stay mad at me because I never join their pot lucks nasty ass pot lucks. White people can't cook for shyt. Had one last week. I had to take a pic of this nasty shyt.

Smart people get a part time job, and sleep with the people at that job. That way they get to sleep with subordinates, coworkers or managers, and if they try to get you jammed up it wont matter to you.

That's what @Hacksaw Jim Thuggin manager at Walgreens would do.

This is the perfect setup. If you can get some consistent side hustles, then fukking on the part time job won't matter

Sh1t gets wicked... My boy at work has been fukking this married chick at work and now she's pregnant. He told me he has never used a rubber and he regularly shoots up the club.
