A Lot Of WWE Talent Are Reportedly Reaching Out To AEW - Wrestling Inc.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio it was reported a lot of talent "wants out" and the number of WWE Superstars who have reached out to AEW would blow people's minds. Those within this group are apparently counting down the days before they can make a move.

While talent like The Usos and AJ Styles have decided to stay with WWE, others like Dustin Rhodes, Jon Moxley, and Shawn Spears have already made the jump to All Elite Wrestling.

The report continued WWE is definitely offering up more money to keep people around, but some within the company feel miserable and money isn't necessarily enough to keep them around.

Moxley is being looked at as someone who actually made it to the top of WWE, but still wasn't as hot as he is on his current run. Those who might be midcard or lower in WWE are seeing the potential of going elsewhere to give them a better chance at raising their stock.

It's true for certain talents. Guys like EC3, Bobby Roode, Finn Balor, and Shinsuke would do better outside of WWE but those guys already have proven they can as experienced independent workers. Ambrose/Moxley is doing well because he was popular in the indies and the WWE, Dillenger/Spears was never that good, he was in WWE long enough to be on WWECW and was in developmental for over a decade after until The Perfect 10 inadvertently got over because fans saw his delusional jobber gimmick as the next Barry Harrowitz and he was switched to underdog with self-belief but the thing is he's older and there are already guys like that on the indies and he can't play that exact character. Other in house guys like Mojo Rawley would be done without WWE, NoWay Jose is an experienced indie guy who would get booked but not climbing anyone's card. R-Truth had a more meaningful run in TNA but in WWE he's buddies with Vince a future Hall of Famer for the wacky shyt he does and probably has a job for life.

There are some in house WWE guys I think would do better outside like Ziggler, Chad Gable, and The Revival because they are workhorses.

With Mojo, he can fall back on being a part of Gronk's entourage as his Johnny Drama or Turtle

A lot of these dudes are gonna be in for a rude awakening when AEW has no interest in them.

Jericho already said they're not trying to get a bunch of WWE guys, So i highly doubt they're gonna stuff their roster with the rejects too.

AEW has that MJF guy, do they really need EC3?

Yeah I watched a shoot that she was on she works as a transcriptionist and she produces the ladys of the ring series for CZWs production company.

Curt Hawkins was hustling a couple years ago when he was released dude loves wrestling he will be straight. The thing is theres money to be made but you have to promote your self and go find it. Some cats only want to work for WWE and they don't have the drive to get work on the outside

That's the thing, brehs who said Hawkins wasnt doing anything after WWE wasnt paying attention to the indies. He created his own wrestling school and started touring all over. He was even in BOLA for PWG. And the indy he worked WrestlePro, are ran by guys who have been best friends with Kenny Omega for years.

Not everyone is going to be stars but I dont blame people for wanting to be happy and at least attempt to grow within their profession. Its slave mentality to think otherwise.

Yeah, I mean not everyone is gonna be an Omega or Cody, but at the same time you get to promote your brand your way and you’re not micromanaged all the time. It’s funny how Steph says that you can build your brand in WWE when Zack Ryder tried to do that and was buried for it.

There are other options, though. The guy whose career I would be looking at if I were a WWE low-carder who wanted out is Juice Robinson's. Absolutely no one called that happening, but dude left NXT and bet on himself and got well over in Japan. If I'm an EC3 or whatever, I'd be thinking that if he can do that shyt, I can do that shyt.

Thing is, EC3 did it. There would be no EC3 without TNA. His problem is that he was dumb enough to go back
