You're saying that like they're superstars now.
They wont be a star there either and they'll be making less money :mjlit:

That boy Shawn Spears signed with AEW and jobbed out to a cripple night one :pachaha:

Which is what he should be doing but still.

The thing about Impact is that they only have 5 or 6 dates a month so you need to work indies or a real world job outside of those dates to make decent money. According to Reddit, Jordynne Grace works as a legal transcriptionist and takes indie dates while Scarlett used to be a bottle girl before signing to Impact but she doesn't take many indie bookings.

Yeah I watched a shoot that she was on she works as a transcriptionist and she produces the ladys of the ring series for CZWs production company.

Curt Hawkins was hustling a couple years ago when he was released dude loves wrestling he will be straight. The thing is theres money to be made but you have to promote your self and go find it. Some cats only want to work for WWE and they don't have the drive to get work on the outside

"Stephanie reportedly pushed how great everything is with the company, and how talents get to be their own brands in the company. Stephanie also pushed social media in a big way. Her presentation included a big screen that showed how Forbes recently listed WWE and WrestleMania as one of the top 10 most powerful brands on social media, among other points."

This is not true in the slightest, as it's actually the OPPOSITE. Ever since The Rock broke out and never needed the WWE but the WWE needed him, they have never wanted another breakout star like that. The WWE is about pushing the WWE brand, NOT an individual star. There's a reason why nearly every single title looks like an assembly line made prop.

"It was also noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is trying to convince talents that their careers are over if they leave. Talents have believed this in previous years, but most aren't buying it these days and a lot of wrestlers who leave are happy that they made the decision. Meltzer noted how it appears as if WWE is trying to convince the fans that it's WWE or nothing, and that wrestlers are jokes if they aren't with WWE"

This part isn't anything new either. The WWE has been ingraining that into fans as far back as Attitude. There's a reason why (even on this forum) people turn their noses up to non-WWE feds. They've done that damn near since birth, like a McDonald's happy meal. They were taught to do that from the start. This is why I'm pulling for any fed to rise up and get sustained success and attention. Both the wrestlers and the fans deserve real alternatives instead of being spoon-fed what they THINK they should be viewing.

But if ur still getting paid, primarily, top dollar in terms of wrestling biz, for doing nothing....dont you ride that out?

Are you even traveling to TV tapings? You should be saving that dough. You're prob just doing house shows.
Pretty much everyone is required to show up to TV "just in case." You never know who they'll want to work Main Event or who they need for a pull apart segment. House shows I'm not sure about. I'd bet EC3 is working a lighter schedule overall than Roman Reigns, but I don't know how many dates that translates to.

I think there's something to said for how sitting in the back and doing nothing limits ones earning potential. Yes, your average wrestler in WWE is probably doing okay just being in part of the loser locker room and eating snacks in catering. But it would be frustrating to think about how much more the people who are actually getting TV time are making due to merch, appearances, bonuses for PPVs, etc and how that's being denied you because you're not out there. To use Heath Slater again, I bet you he'd much rather go back to those "I Got Kids" shirts or Social Outcasts PPV pre show match checks than whatever he's making now. Especially when you factor in how much shyt you gotta pay for being on the road all the time and having a family at home to support.

There is also just personal drive. If wrestling is your passion, then I gotta imagine that working for the biggest wrestling company on Earth and almost never actually getting to wrestle or show your craft on the biggest stage is super frustrating. Take Ember Moon, who has all the talent in the world and can barely get on the card most nights. Or Rusev, who's gotten over God knows how many times and has been MIA for weeks. Being content to sit around and do nothing usually only happens at jobs you don't give a fukk about. The problem - and it's sad I have to call this a "problem" in this context - for a lot of folks in the locker room is that they really, really want to wrestle and perform and the company they work for isn't letting them for one reason or another.

This would have been true 10 years ago, but Triple Hs talent hoarding is getting ready to back fire on them. The WWE roster in terms of in ring talent just by the Numbers is the best it’s ever been

the bolded wasn't true back then either for the wrestlers that could actually wrestle.

but the WWE didn't have a whole lot of those types during that time period.

Like that boy TJP. i aint heard bout him in months

TJP was already established before he went to the WWE.

Tell talent their career is over of they leave while they're back of a milk carton status currently, brehs.

They made up an entirely new title for the lower card people that never get used to have something to do, and they still.have managed to get all of four people considerable screen time off of it.

If anything, if I were one of the lesser used talents, I'd be thinking that the longer I sat around in catering, the more likely I'm done, since no one's seen me wrestle in forever.
