True, a lot of natural chics deal with white men. I think that most black women have some sort of subconscious that makes them feel inadequate around black men if they are not wearing a hair hat. Even if you tell a chic that you prefer the natural look she will not respect your opinion. If she goes to the office and Esau tells her he likes it, she respects his opinion and feels validated. It has a lot to do with the fact that we are generally powerless as black men in this society, therefore our opinions mean little to our women. White supremacy has really done a number on the minds our people.

Oh... my bad. It probably depends on your environment and the kind of people there. I wouldn't bother with it if I were you, you can't please everyone.
Just keep being happy with and accepting yourself for who you are. A lot of immature insecure boys in grown mens bodies who don't even know what they want or who they are in life should not knock your confidence and resilience girl.

I recommend you keeping visual imagery of positivity to keep you focussed on what you are and want to achieve hair wise, a lot of amazing natural hair blogs on tumblr or pinterest, it helps, you won't find much in the media. Don't let the poisonous insecurities these boys vomit poison your soul. Don't lower your standards or compromise for these bottom feeders. Stay winning.

Yo my nikka this shyt is SOOOO TRUE! Also sad. And I don't care what anyone says! Neg me all you want. This is one of the many reasons I never really cared for this natural hair vs fake hair nonsense. When I did jump on the topic, it was just for jokes and nothing seriously. In real life I would just clown on some of the black women in my family for wearing weaves, but it was again just jokes and they knew it. Yeah I use to prefer black women to wear their natural hair, but I noticed a certain weird vibe that comes off of bw who wear their natural hair.

They seem to only do it because they want something and it aint "black empowerment" like some of them like to suggest. Its just lies.


My college is a microcosm of this...

In my college you'll find the top of the line black women who are weave heads like this with black men.

Meanwhile you'll find "natural hair sistas" like these with white boys... The nerdy white boys btw.

Also natural hair girls for some reason come off bitter or batshyt crazy to me for some reason.
