Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Not to me and there are plenty of other women who don't care about that.

Mike's verse was about women being fake. They will never perceive him as better looking just because he has money. He simply became a meal ticket.
To chime in... It goes the same for women.. We all seen that meme "You're not ugly, you're broke" with all the women who looked like shyt before fame

Money does bring access to better clothes, grooming, more positivity and happiness in your personality, eating right, so you probably looking better all around.

Once again, experiments have been done on this phenomenon. Scientists give women pictures of men and tell them to rate how attractive they are. Then they give them the same pictures but this time include their income and tell them to rate their attractiveness. The men with the highest incomes see their attractiveness score increase. Now this doesn't mean the women will rate the richest men as being the most attractive. Instead what it shows is that if you are rich women will naturally rate you as being more attractive than if they thought you were broke.

You might not even be consciously aware of it but when you look at The Rock, for example, you are giving him a bump in terms of his attractiveness based on the fact he's rich and famous. Its simply biology that women can't escape. Your genetics have programmed you to desire the highest status males in the society. Its in the DNA.

This does not apply to me. I can post many non--famous men that I find attractive. I like men with a handsome face and good looks and that will never change. I don't care how much money he makes. I'm telling you as a woman that your attractiveness does NOT increase just because you have money. You will only be seen as a meal ticket.

Not hard to do at all if you have the genetics for it. I’m one of those cats that can get in amazing shape quickly. I’ve gone weeks / months without working out and have always been able to get it back within a couple days / weeks.

That's called muscle memory. Assuming you were jacked at some point in your life, you can go months and possibly even years without working out and in a matter or weeks to months get back all the gains you lost from non-activity.

This is why getting swole is so important. Once you build a nice foundation of muscle, it stays with you for life.

My argument is that I am attracted to handsome men with lean, athletic muscle build and that my attraction is not inspired by the man's status. I'm not really seeing how what you said is related to my post.

You've been working out for years, though. Your body has "muscle memory," so it will be easier for you. MBJ was never in that kind of shape in his life until that movie.

If MBJ never looked like that before, he could have benefitted from newbie gains which is similar to muscle memory. You can blow up pretty quick in your first 6-12 months of training if you never seriously lifted weights before.

I essentially went from chicken legs to some nice thighs, glutes, and calves in my first 9 months of serious leg training. That's prolly where a lot of the 15 lbs I've gained went to. Its possible to blow up pretty quickly in your first year of serious training.

You're just uneducated on the subject....Show me someone who puts 20lbs of muscle in half a year, not on gear. Jon Jones popped, he was dumb enough to post a vid/pic with a six pack and bigger. Like I said, can you get a six pack? Yes....shredded and skinny (below a certain body fat). Chael Sonnen goes in on this. Jackman gained 20+ lbs in less than a year and he walks around at 170...simply not how the human body works. There's plenty of youtube channels from doctors and users who will tell you these guys are on tren, test or Anavar. A lot of civilians simply don't know what these chemicals do to the body, so they think its achievable naturally. There's also the case that certain people on roids won't get as shredded (doping, creams, etc).

The Rock is in his 40's looking bigger than he ever did in his 20's or 30's...that doesn't happen naturally due to sarcopenia setting in as you get older. The biggest example is Bob Sapp....my man walks around with palumbo gut and a six pack....thats never been natural. The one key thing to notice; you simply don't get bigger and maintain a six pack...you also don't get bigger as you get older. Terry Crews is another user. Just look at the age and muscle development. If still you don't believe me, just hit a youtube and plenty of doctors will describe it on there.
I always wonder why The Rock wanted to get roided up when he was acting compared to wrestling.

I think some of y’all are discounting the genetic component.

I was also one of those cats that after I first started working out at 17, I already had intense definition in a matter of days. Also I didn’t really take to the next level until I had access to better food and proper education about working out.

Mbj being a celebrity getting fit for a role doesn’t entail using gear if he has this combo on his side:
Good genetics, the best nutrition, the best of trainers and the lifestyle / ability to rest so he can maximize gains.

y’all would be surprised how far that takes someone. I’d be a world class athlete if I trained now how I did when I was a teen.

There’s a reason why a lot of successful athletes actually come from privileged backgrounds. It’s because they’re training in an environment that allow them to grow.

I could see MBJ generally getting to that point on newbie gains and the ability to basically focus on that only as an actor. Either way he’s working to peak and look a certain way for certain period of time. I won’t get bogged down into numbers because we won’t know what he really put on weight wise relative to lean muscle mass, etc.

Of course a lot of these guise are on gear in general. I also can’t figure out why this even matters to the OP at this point.

Well I'm here to tell you that men have a totally different view on this based on their experiences. Remember the Jay-Z line from The Black Album "all the wavy light skin girls is loving me now"? Guy after guy who has made it big says the same thing. You can say its because they just see them as a meal ticket but then how come the reverse never happens with women when they become rich or famous? Why are there not songs of women talking bout no guys liking them when they were broke but now all the good looking guys are trying to holler cause she made it big? It never happens because fame and money doesn't make a woman more appealing to a guy. Men only care about a woman's looks. And the only way for a woman to level up is to get better looking not to get rich.

Once again, guys ain't fighting to get with Leslie Jones now that she's rich and famous. But women do go crazy for a Jay-Z once he blews after making fun of his looks when he was broke. Its simple biology.

I feel like there’s a few arguments in this thread going on......

There’s dudes who :flabbynsick: fat, skinny or dad bods who are taking the ig comments as all women hate men with any type of muscle.

There’s cats in here that work out and are fit, who are confronting the slander about women not liking muscles at all, with real experiences.

and then there are women in here saying that they like muscles but not overly bulky or unnatural. The equivalent is like someone mentioned above, a women with big fake ass or double g breasts. I like ass and breast, but when they’re more natural looking. I’ll take a regular slightly thick woman over a slender woman with excessive plastic surgery that looks like a cartoon character

Using celebrities is a lost cause. I like what I like and it will not change.

I don't know why they are going off topic arguing about status and such when all of us women have said we like muscles as long as they don't overdo it. I don't see how that is unbelievable.
