First, this is not esoteric nonsense. There is a level of reality beyond the senses and beyond what we can measure with scientific instruments that has an immense affect on what happens in our day-to-day lives. So esotericism and spirituality should not be grouped in with rumors and gossip.
Second, we should be talking about all aspects of nature and the universe, the physical and the spiritual, because like it or not they are interconnected.

That’s why I’m not big on karma or waiting for bad things to happen to bad ppl. I definitely believe you will get the energy you put out, but some ppl/energies are here to purposely be negative/give negativity. They revel in darkness and death and negativity. So what is going to befall someone who is already accepting/inviting what we consider “negative”?
That’s why I focus on myself and my energy and what I’m doing. Makes it easier to spot out and avoid the ppl who aren’t aligned with me/my energy. I can’t control them, but I can control how I react and decide to protect myself when I encounter negativity.
Karma doesnt always mean they get hit by a bus or die in a plane crash, get shot in the head. That happens sometimes but thats not the only Karma that exists.
Not all Karma is visible. A lot of these ppl are dead inside, deeply depressed, cant sleep, fighting demons in their head all day. I’ve met a lot of these ppl.
Plus, Karma extends through different incarnations/lifetimes

Sins of the father and such. Same people that play dumb about karma be the same people who understand the idea of inheriting addiction even phobias...shyt is deeper than just genes, but even on that basic level your life is influenced greatly by your predacessors.
This is where the notion of breaking 'generational curses' comes from. Not just genetics, but mental/emotional patterns get passed down through your bloodline and stay in place until someone breaks them. There is usually that one person every other generation within a family or so who's job it is to actually balance that 'karma' and break those patterns for the entire bloodline. This doesn't mean everybody who is gifted wakes up and accepts that call, but if that's you...it's worth it.
Balancing your fear with faith, bringing concious awareness to the patterns that plague you, your family or even society at large creates ripple effects.
