Evolution is the best X Men show to me. It perfectly spread out screen time among the cast and fleshed out every character. I also think making most of them teenagers was a smart move, as the themes of identity issues and dealing with discrimination hit home harder to audiences who were at a similar age

Not to mention it has Spyke with one of the GOAT character arcs

I liked it but it made no sense for Wolverine to be the leader. Cyclops quitting is understandable but Storm was there and should have been the leader. I do understand that the creators did it since Wolverine was the most popular X-Man but from a story standpoint, it made no sense.

I don't know why people have a problem with the voice acting from the 90s animated series. It was spot on! To this day whenever I read X-Men comics, I hear their voices when reading dialogue for the characters.

We need a new X-Men animated series but I'm afraid Disney will dumb it down too much like they did with Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble. :scust:

I have no faith in Disney when it comes to animated series :mjlol::mjlol:Why we haven't gotten a Daredevil series, a Ghost rider series, a Incredible Hulk remake like the 90s, Ironman series, and a Heroes for Hire series written like Spectacular Spiderman or Wolv and the Xmen yet is:hhh:

There are strong rumors they're going to revive TAS -

Disney+ teases the revival of a classic Marvel show

Nothing confirmed as of yet but the creators have been wanting to for years.

Problem with a lotta the marvel shows is that by the time they really start getting good.. they get cancelled/end :skip:

Evolution was getting good in them later seasons. Apocalypse should have kept the glowing pharoah
Wolverine and the X-Men with that AoA ending :francis:
Avengers :EMH. Although I think the last season fell off

Marvel needs someone to do for it what the DCAU did for DC animated fair

They found out they were canceled in the middle of s2 which is why the ending was rushed. Galactus and Surtur were being set up for s3

Exactly. They're always going to be written for lowest common denominator and I get it; they want to sell toys first and foremost and make it easy for kids to digest. But they're talking down to their audience and I just can't get with that. I give every spider-man related thing a shot on principle but these last few spider-man cartoons aren't for me. Guardians was okay and actually kinda layered, but it also fell victim to Disney being Disney
