Wolverine has lead the X-Men before though so I don't see the big deal.

Thing is, every time there's an X-men show/movie/whatever Wolverine completely hogs the spotlight.

I have nothing against the character but it wouldn't kill Marvel to hop off his sack at least some of the time... :skip:

I have a lot of good memories watching TAS, but I have to admit that I slept hard on X-men Evolution. It's a solid show from the end of the 2nd season onward.

TAS stayed close to the comics, but there were certain things Evolution did better.
Cyclops was shown to be a real leader, and not a chump.
Nightcrawler and Kitty Pryde were given more focus. (I still maintain that Nightcrawler should have been a main character in TAS.)
Wolverine wasn't shoved in our faces 24/7 at the expense of everyone else.

I've never seen Wolverine and the X-men. The animation looks great, but I'm a little put off at the thought of Wolverine being pushed as the leader of Cyclops or Storm. That's like making Raphael the leader of the Ninja Turtles to me.
Logan is dope, but I get tired of the writers nerfing everyone just to only focus on him. I've also heard that Cyclops is depicted as a punk (yet again) just to make Wolverine look better. What are your thoughts? Is the show still worth watching?

All you heard about the show is true but it's done in a way that makes sense. Its my favorite X men show.

Marvel wrote themselves into a corner with Legion they HAD to do AOA

Kinda like stepping in piss to avoid stepping in shyt :russ:

xmen was in the commode.
the minute the image guys left.
Where the decision makers at marvel were to inept.
to even look for other real trained talent.
plus who ever picked the artist after the image guys left.
for sure had no idea.
who or what a great artist is as well.
let alone actual real trained story tellers.
who knew how to write an actual marvel style comic as well.

Can't cosign on the fact that the Phoenix Saga on TAS was one of the best multi-part episode run in Television History.

But Season 2 of W&TXmen would've been lit if they really got to explore the AOA timeline. :wow:
Favorite Comic Book Arc/ storyline ever :whew:
Still have never read it and have been wanting to just say fukk it and purchase the omnibus

Watching this shyt again now and :wow:

look I get the nostalgia. I do. And I get the sticking the comics thing. But from a writing standpoint I can’t put that cartoon over wolverine and the X-men. Same shyt I feel about spectacular Spiderman. They’re written on multiple levels whereas those 90s cartoons feel written for kids which is how I feel when I watch those now as an adult

I'd throw Xmen Evo in there as a great prequel type series leading up to WvXmen:wow:
