I got up to the boss (haven't fought yet) before I got off to watch Kelly. It's NOT Nioh, but it's cool. There are only two enemies so far I had any real trouble with (one that has multiples, but like everything else, once you get the hang of it it's whatever), other than that it's pretty straightforward.
I've only used two weapons so far (Sword/Duals). I messed with the Glaive for a second but it felt too slow. I picked Fire (attacking...duh lol) and the spells are ok I guess. They do allow you to keep a combo going, and with no stamina, you can swing til your hearts content. I THINK (not sure yet) that each Virtue has their own magic spells. So when I finish with this fire I'll try a new one next. Also yes there's a jump button.
One thing that I do NOT care for is you have to push Circle (B I guess on Xbox) twice to dodge. Circle is also the deflect mechanic. Deflecting takes away some of your spirit. So if you wanna dodge, not only do you have to remember to hit the button twice, but you lose spirit cause the first button press always deflects. The loss of spirit is not a big deal in the end, but I hope they change shyt up for the final version, cause I like dodging.
Saw someone ask about ki pulse. Since Stamina is unlimited, there is no place for it in this game. Apparently (so I've read there are flash attacks (when you swap from one weapon to another mid-combat, you do an attack),but I haven't figured out how to do it. Apparently R1 + Circle/B does it. I did not see that at all. Will have to mess with that too.
I will say that unlike Strangers of Paradise (Square/TN collab) I like what I'm seeing/playing so far. I'll be pre-ordering this. And then we have Ronin in the chamber. Love TN man.
Also, leave Conde alone lol. I mean, he's right: all Team Ninja games get Demos. Literally all of them. So this one getting one should be no surprise.
bruh stop caping for that gump
