There is literally nothing Wlad could do to stop Jones from taking him down. Jones is a JUCO national wrestling champion who has effortlessly taken down other highly decorated wrestlers (who keep in mind CONSTANTLY and SPECIFICALLY train to not get taken down), how would he not easily take down a cat who's about as good as you or me in that department?
I prefer boxing, but Klitschko is not beating the best MMA fighter in the world in MMA (who specializes in take downs no less). Patrick Chan isn't beating Alexander Ovechkin in hockey either. There's just no logical reason to take Wlad over Jones in MMA. He slaughters him in boxing though.

Jones gets slaughtered in boxing match and Wlad gets slaughtered in an MMA match. In a kickboxing match? Now that would be very interesting.
It wouldn't surprise if some of the posters on here would favor Wlad over Jones in a wrestling match.

Though I whole-heartedly believe Jones would put him on his back and beat him, I can't shake the image of Bonesy getting boxed up by Gustafsson and wondering if he could get caught.
