Breh they were both hits tho. The first one made 88 WW on a 20 mil budget and the second made 171 WW on I’m assuming a similar budget. The biggest action movies now if we want to be real about it are comic book movies, James Bond, the mission impossible series, and the fast and furious movies. Oh and fury road.

Action movies now make relatively what they’ve always made in Hollywood. They don’t cost a lot to make and they have a great return. Something like T2 is an outlier not the norm

Well then purely the flicks I listed. Most action flicks have always been smashes on that level. Making a billion at the box office for a movie like die hard or John wick ain’t happening

The US isn't the center of the universe. We're in a globalized economy. If a movie flops in the US but does numbers in China then it's not a dud/flop.

In fact, China owns Hollywood. No one cares what fat Americans think anymore.

Yea this movie wasnt bad but it felt like that matt damon great wall shyt. Like an american starring in a foreign film that also got a release date in the states. I cant remember but i dont think any of the terrorist were asian or killed. Like they got a clause that everybody else dies and is the bad guy
