Saben is playing w/ anger and I don't blame him. There is no reason why Saben shouldn't be splitting minutes with Corey.

This fanbase is a little too excited about a g league performance of a second rounder.

G league has zero rim protection and because of that, saben can’t do half of this when he’s on the A team

Yeah, the athleticism thing has been highly overstated. He pushes the pace and doesn't seem to have any problem getting space to get a good shot off. He ain't gonna be blowing by nikkas or just drinking on muthafukkas, but everything I've seen shows that his game can be highly effective. And with no real training camp or preseason to get reps in, you can see him getting more comfortable with each game. nikka ain't scared of the moment or deterred by an off shooting night. He got supreme confidence in his abilities, and that's the shyt I love, especially because he's not playing a bonehead style of basketball. Him going at KD and getting the shots he wanted against his length was a great sign.

Looking at this he only had about 3 or 4 bad plays the whole night. A ton of good plays and good decisions with shots that I expect he'll make on a regular basis as he continues to get more comfortable as he gets used to the speed and his teammates.

Edit: This nikka Blaha must really love the alliteration in Cade's name. He says his full name damn near every time:russ:

Just took a look at the video. I like his IQ, he gets to good spots on the floor. He don’t just throw up bullshyt all the time. Those shots gone start falling, like the one where he took KD one on one

People are excited because performances like this happen routinely in the g league. I do think soon Saben should take Corey Joseph minutes but nah g league performances aren’t indicative of nba performances because most teams do not have anybody over 6’9 that can protect the rim or contest layups and Saben feeds off that because his wonky jumper.

And Cade proved why he went number one
Green with the amazing dunk turned into a tech and a big swing in the game as the pistons took over and green went scoreless in the fourth and took two air balls with Cade guarding him

Cade continues to look better every night after missing the preseason and start of the regular season.

He obviously isn’t going to blow by people but finds his way to the basket with well timed moves and his body. I like he’s confident in his shot, he wasn’t just deferring in the fourth.

once we get some nikkas that won’t steal his assists :wow:

I dont think jalen scored after he got his tech. Chucked up a few airballs.

and the quote about the trash talk :wow: tonight was just another example why he was the right choice for the team and city

He’ll get bigger, stronger, faster…. He has a great in and out move and can get to the basket. And his shot is pure :wow:

Future 25-10-10 a night type guy. If Y’all stumble into Chet or Banchero it’s over.

Wait till he start knocking down that middy on a consistent basis like he was doing in college. It's gonna open up that pick and roll game wide the fukk open. They still dropping on it now, but once they actually gotta commit to it too slow him down, the floor gonna open up for him.

Team definitely plays better with Cade running show. They need to just make Hayes a 3 and D SG at this point. Grants getting more comfortable playing with Cade and Bey shot has to eventually start falling

Trying to find a comparison for Cades game so far :jbhmm:

Playmaking Paul Pierce maybe:patrice:

This game shows why I’m not too hard on Casey. Pistons offense is terrible but there playing hard and making the right plays and getting after it on defense every night. Houston looks like a G-league team. Silas aint coach shyt. We get on Pistons management for keeping Joseph and Mcgruder type around but they serve purpose. Rockets could definitely use John Wall to mentor on court. But i know that would ruin there tank efforts

Killians been the actual SG for a few games now. You can tell by noticing you haven't been as upset about him pickup up his dribble when driving to the lane :mjlol:

Statistically Killian is currently the best 3 point shooter on the team (38%). Last year was a smaller sample size due to his injury but with all his shooting struggles, his best 3 point shooting came in catch and shoot situations (30%) I think Detroit may have stumbled upon something letting Kill play SG and Cade not be as off ball. It actually makes more sense and was dependent on Killian making the 3s he shoots which he has the last 4 games.

With Jerami, Cade and Bey as the 3 main options, there isnt much of a need for Kill to go out there and score which helps him a ton. From an eye test perspective, his defense has been there since day 1 and I can live with a Marcus Smart with elite court vision archetype for Killian.
