Since you’re curious, I only judge the Lions on Dan Campbell decision making and Brad Holmes drafting and related moves, and both parts have been terrible. I want Casey to keep putting these players in the best position to win and leading the development of the young players right. He had a great track record of it in the past and that’s what I’m looking for to continue. You’re on some weird shyt if you think I’m telling you something wrong
If you think me saying putting nobodies like Kelly olynk and Cory Joseph in front of younger players is weird than so be it. And that still will not result into wins. This is probably the worse roster in the nba. You sound like you thought they was gonna tank for one year get the #1 pick and then start winning. That ain’t happening. This is a process that is going to take years. Let Stewart play and take his lumps. Hopefully he proves he can play and be ready to be a rotational piece when the time comes.

Olynyk averaged 19 ppg on Houston last year, how many players on the roster can do that right now in ANY situation? If Cade is the priority, he can’t start with two players with limited offensive game. I don’t see every young player on the team as a core part of the rebuild, it’s Cade and Saddiq to me, I want everyone else in position to serve them to see who the Pistons are going to keep long term because it isn’t everyone. That really isn’t much different than what you’re saying other than thinking the most consistent player on the team is subpar

I don’t care what olynk average last year. He’s a nobody a after thought. A journeyman. There is a reason why he signed with the worse team in the league. There is zero reason for him to be starting over a younger player on a team that’s destined to be one of the worse in the league. Plumlee>>olynk

I kinda see why they wanna change his shot, it’s gotta be quicker, and higher to get it off in traffic
I understand the logic behind it. But my philosophy is to let it be proven it's ineffective before automatically going in tweaking it. We've seen so many guys with unorthodox shyts be highly successful, and Cade's ain't even that off.

I feel that, just think it needs light tweaking. He’ll adjust tho, I think now that he’s had a good game the pressure is off and he’ll play a bit more loose

Yeah, I don't think it was a major overhaul, but even light tweaking takes some getting used to to get to the point it feels natural and can be used as a reliable weapon. He's gonna go through some growing pains with it and hear plenty of clowning, but it's good to see he knows how to be an effective player even when the jumper he's been so used to using isn't falling. He seems to have supreme confidence though and took damn near all good shots which makes me feel really strong that that part will come around.
