Kareem watchin Wilt and Shaq dunk on a hoop at the exact same time... :russ:

this is the best thing I can get to a close-up scale comparison of the two because I found images of both with a consistent diameter object (the rim) taken from virtually identical perspective... Obviously they are in different spots with different posture but u can tell how huge Wilt is, this is Wilt when he was 300+ on the Lakers

shooting guards or pgs?

HTMLCounter.com check this out for most of the active and recent crops of NBA players draft data

Some oldschool or other ones not on that list;

Michael Jordan 6-11.25
Kobe Bryant 6-11
Jerry West 6-9

Mostly shooting guards.

Dwyane Wade
6' 10.75" :gladbron:

For a 6'3 guard that is ridiculous.

Yah some other impressive spans would be:

Rajon Rondo (height w/o shoes never actually measured) but he likely about 6-0 and hes' got a 6-9 wingspan

Bismack Biyombo 6-8.31 w/o shoes with a 7-6.16 wingspan

Kawhi Leonard 6-6 w/o shoes with a 7-3 wingspan

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I have no idea what Barkley's wingspan was, but just looking at videos of him it had to be spectacular, like Jason Maxiel level stuff (6"5 without shoes and monster 7'3" 1/4th wingspan). No way you can get away with being dominant at his height without some ridiculously long arms, he's probably the most unique player in NBA history.

yeah, I agree completely about Barkley.

Cant think of anyone that was like him before and there hasnt been a 2.0 version of him since he retired.

You can look at all the great players and find someone who was like them, but not Barkley.

That's why BB's defensive-ceiling is sky high. Endless hustle, pterodactyl wingspan, his height (low center of gravity)/quickness allows him to patrol outside the paint, strong enough to hold his own on the block (LCG).
