The average gamer is 37 according to the ESA as of last year.

It shows the problem we are having in the gaming industry, yeah its a good thing that gaming has hooked us in for that long (Average player playing for 12 years), but we are doing a bad job getting the kids in.

WTF are kids doing these days exactly? It's not like I see them at the park or anything.

I can't imagine it. Each year I'm playing less and less. I doubt I'll still be playing at 30-35.

IQUOTE]I play less and less. But if I completely give up it will probably be because of where the industry takes us. Games cost more to make and purchase these days and its pathetic how they're constantly trying to get more money for less game. Not feeling the dlc epidemic.

I'm slowly gravitating back to PC gaming.

till the casket drops. to me this is like asking will you still be watching movies or listening to music when you're 40+. just because gaming is a media form that came after all the old timers so they look at it as some young people shyt doesn't mean i who came up with it will abandon it to conform to their ideals when they never came up with this anyway.

I probably won't be gaming or be heavy into music. Gaming drives me nuts cause everyone cheeses, what's the point of winning and you never develop any skill. I barely like the new music that's out these days.

When I was little I could sit down and play some shyt all day if moms let me. Now? I dont really know to be honest, I notice the older I get the smaller my attention span becomes when it comes to video games. I'll play some shyt if its undeniably dope, but for the most part most of my games hit the shelf. I'm saying maybe.

Always have to have at least an NBA sim game in the crib, a JRPG, a Capcom or old SNK Fighter, and a PC FPS in the crib.

No. This is likely my last gen. Maybe it's because I'm older but the luster for video games is :flabbynsick: now.

:heh:

Coming from someone who's been coaching kids from 4th-6th grade over the past 3 years... that's all these lil rugrats do.

My little sister is 11 and she plays the hell out of videogames.
