Literally every democracy on earth with a populist movement now has defeated it with left wing coalitions or parties. Anything other than more left will not beat a populist right wing Republican party

You’re a good poster, but these elections haven’t shown you that America is an “unique” place—and that Americans, broadly, don’t give a fukk about any of that? Americans vote of “vibes.” People here vote based on how the candidate makes them feel on some visceral level. All those are great platforms, but unless you have a Gavin Newsome level mouthpiece/charisma Americans are not just going to vote for you in the general election because you’re promising alternative energy, etc.

It's a wrap for female candidates. Ironically though, I believe if this matchup was Niki Haley vs. Joe Biden, she would have beat him and been our first female president.

And Grethen Whitmer, 2 term Governor of Michigan. And Josh Shapiro. Governor of PA and up for re-election in 2026.

Whitmer's chances are cooked because the party will believe she can't win the Presidency. Even though I'd argue she has more midwestern appeal than limousine liberal Newsom, who has zero appeal there.

I'd go with Shapiro. White Obama.

Whitmer won’t be president. Remember. No female democrat president candidates. Only republicans have a chance at having a female president if they do it first. Democrats wont do it first. Only after republicans do it then can democrats do it.

The country is too far center-right to elect a woman outright. Only parliamentary systems elect women because the parties themselves do the nominations.

If the USA had a parliament, then Nancy Pelosi would have been president already.
