He was putting in a big effort on defense, taking CP3 full-court and sticking to him pretty hard. Paul scored most of his points only after getting switches. That's on Bud - he's got to figure out a scheme to keep his main defenders on the guards cause they were fukking abusing the bigs after a switch over and over again.

Book and Ayton are a Legit 1-2 young punch to build around for the 2020’s.. I rather have them than Embiid/Ben and Zion/Ingram.. The only better young duo I can think of off top would be Tatum/Brown and Brown could definitely be traded in a couple years.

Their offense is counter-intuitive to how teams are probably coached to defend in today's game. Teams are given mid-range jumpers and they have two guys who excel in that area. Paul's a terrific three point shooter but he's never been a high volume guy from beyond the arc. You don't have to worry about him taking 10+ threes if he's feeling it.

And even though Booker's form and shot look pure, he's not a great three point shooter. Milwaukee would be best served to close short on everybody besides Johnson and force/bait Phoenix into 45 threes. In theory, it'd limit the pick and roll opportunities for Ayton as well as his offensive rebounding.

That would probably be some good strategy.You're leaving it up to fate, tho.Just gotta hope it's a night where their streaky 3 pt shooters are off.Mainly Jae Crowder, Mikal Bridges, and Book.Crowder & Book are capable of going nuclear from 3, but seems to only happen once every 20 games or so.The last time Book went insane from 3 was way back in the 1st rd versus the Lakers.He might be due for one out of nowhere.

only watched the 4th but im looking at the box score and the bucks actually shot better and outscored the suns from the field but the suns killt them at the foul line...the suns find an advantage and use it effectively...

I like the dude.I just think he's an overrated basketball player.Stats are eye popping, but when I watch the games, I'm not all that impressed.Breh's really like a 7 ft Westbrook.Situational basketball/crucial timely buckets---> he's mediocre.Runs full speed ahead, using his forearm to push off half the time, only to draw FT's he can't even hit.The shyt's a chore to watch.Like I always say about him:Overly glorified stat stuffing 2nd option.If the Suns lose to this guy as a basketball player, I'll never recover from it.When the games are close, packed in, and condensed down the stretch, Middleton's the guy I'm worried about.Even Brook Lopez looked locked in on offense last night.Hopefully the Suns continue to pick n roll him right off the court.There's a blindside in the Suns defense for C's who can knock down the 3.He was wiiiidddee open out there all night.But yeah, I'm not afraid of Giannis scoring 40.That might mean less shots for Middleton & Lopez out there.

Trap/blitz the 1-5 pick and roll (to get the ball out of CP hands, make him a passer, and not a shooter/driver)

Switch the 2-5 pick and roll with Book and Ayton, with Portis (Portis can actually move his feet, or blitz that Pick and roll, force the ball out of Book's hands)

Make Crowder/Myles/Craig, hit shots.

Clog the paint.

Giannis plays the 5 in the 2nd quarters (go small ball when Ayton goes to the bench) and switch all pick and rolls, clog the paint.

Lopez needs limited time this series unless he's being used to blitz/trap the 1-5 pick and roll in the 1st quarter


Buds need to try a big line-up. Portis and Lopez can be in the game at the same time. Giannis and Middleton at the 1 and 2.
