Will Thanos (MCU) ever be topped as the GOAT comic book movie villain?

I still have Joker (Dark Knight) as the GOAT comic book villain, but Thanos is probably #2.

As far as him being topped? Maybe Doom if they actually do him right.

I think Thanos topped Joker in Endgame. It pushed him over the edge for me.

Joker is entertaining chaos. Thanos got a whole movie devoted to developing him Infinity War and then a half a movie to solidify him. He's just a more rounded character than Joker was.

Nah..he's just a device but if the writing goes where it should, no two villains in Marvel has ever captivated like Dr. Doom and Magneto.

Endgame wasnt perfect because they were missing and so was Silver Surfer.

doom and a comic accurate magneto (as far as powers go. magneto is insanely nerfed in the movies). Kang would be solid plus im sure he'd be played by a brutha as well.

He's not really a villain..he just shows up to be the immediate threat... can be quelled when his hunger is satisfied. He's not malevolent and the high stakes are very temporary.

Yup. Nobody knew Killmonger was top 5 until Killmonger became top 5 lol.

And sure, it could be Doom, but Thanos and Doom have a couple similarities; most notably: one simps the embodiment of death while the other simps another man's stay-at-home wife, and both are prone to take their simping to embarrassing levels that lead to their defeat.

MCU adjusted Thanos and gave him a different internal motivation, so It'll be interesting if or how they adjust Doom or how they execute his jealousy of Reed and his desire to fukk Reed's wife and raise Reed's kids, which is what modern Secret Wars became about, and how he ultimately lost.

Theres a very good chance that theyll try and adapt the secret wars storyline if they get the rights to fantastic 4.
