Ice Cube's last three studio albums (as of 2024) are:

1. **"Raw Footage"** (2008) – Sold around **250,000 copies** (US).
2. **"I Am the West"** (2010) – Sold around **50,000 copies** (US).
3. **"Everythang’s Corrupt"** (2018) – Sold around **10,000 copies** (US).

### Total Sales: **~310,000 copies** in the US.

These numbers are based on SoundScan data and industry estimates, as official certifications (RIAA Gold/Platinum) were not achieved for these albums. Streaming equivalents are not included in these figures.

Would you like worldwide sales estimates or more details?
We’ve been running on fumes since 2008

Ice Cube would have the same outcome if he were to drop an album this year, most people barely remember these two rap
That's not true. Cube has been more active as a rapper than Will has, and while he won't be breaking sales records anytime soon he's done pretty well with his last few albums

I would love to have a demographic study on the overlap between Will Smith fans and black first gen kids who grew up outside the culture, learning it from tv. Yall dudes really believe there was a world where real nikkas were turning up to Jiggy, Miami, and Wild West? You put that shyt on, you were gettin laughed out of rooms.

Outside of his super old school shyt, Will made a mockery of hip hop. He's such a fukkin megalomaniacal dork.

Nobody asked for or wanted to hear Will rap again.

^this^

Only reason he doing it is because of the slap and he thought it’s be a good way to get in good graces with fans again

He thought since he’s “Will Smith” people would flock to the album and be interested in the album but people see thru the bullshyt after the whole Jada Pinkett entanglement and no one’s interested in his music anymore

Naw

Dre LL Cube
I didn’t even factor Beasties…

Then it gets real dark

Yes, Erick Sermon's album "Music" (2001) did chart. Here are the details:

Chart Performance:

  • Billboard 200: #27
  • Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums: #4
  • Top Independent Albums: #1

Singles & Certifications:

  • The title track "Music" (feat. Marvin Gaye) was a major hit:
    • Billboard Hot 100: #22
    • Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs: #4
    • Hot Rap Songs: #2
  • The album was certified Gold by the RIAA (500,000+ copies sold).

Rick:
  • His last solo album, "The Art of Storytelling" (1999), peaked at:
    • Billboard 200: #77
    • Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums: #15
The Outkast single was the only thing close to a radio record. The rest of the album was raw Hip-Hop and/or vulgar.

All either needs is a catchy single, something they're both great at crafting. Rick also got a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Grammys in 2020. If he followed with an album that year he charts easily.

I always thought it was funny when nikkas on here said they really liked his music

Other than Summetime and Just Crusin, he was always corny to me
