I respect that you would rather no blood be shed, but that isn't always possible. I don't think anyone in here wants to see someone killed in a situation like this, but many of us understand why the end result happened, and understand the reasoning for lethal force.

This world is not a perfect place, and there is not a perfect answer for every situation. It would have been great if this situation did not escalate to the level it did, but it happened. And, now we can evaluate why it happened.

Hayes has a child as well. If he turned his back, he could have ended up dead, and his child ending up fatherless. This was a shytty situation, but at the end of the day, if you're going to SAY you have a gun and are going to kill someone, then you have to be prepared for the repercussions when someone DOES go get a gun on defense and take action.
