Depends on the film and the director being it. I feel like if Dark Knight didn't do it then none will but hopefully I'm wrong. I can definitely see another one getting nominated though but winning is a different story
dark knight didn't even get nominated for picture. just heath and technical ones.. so no chanceDepends on the film and the director being it. Marvel Studios would have to have a different writer/director than Whedon. I could see the Russo brothers directing something very special but they'd need a tighter script.
Snyder and DC would probably never win. Snyder would have to tone down the action some. They did hire Chris Terrio to rewrite Batman v. Superman so that's a start. If you are hiring award-winning writers that is half the battle. Then you just need actors that can pull it off and a competent director.
yea they opened up more spots, so films like Philomena can get nominatedThey changed the rules for it though. I think it could happen again. Could be wrong of course but idk man, I think eventually it will happen. It'd be a nice change of pace
Exactly my feelings. You get a high caliber pedigree behind the camera and it may happen. But then again, some people said Skyfall should've gotten one and it had high caliber behind the camera and in front of it and couldn't muster anything outside of technical noms
I think if Bardem had a larger role they might have done it. I enjoyed that they didn't play him out and there was still some mystery behind him but imagine if he was killin it the whole film, he would have been legendary.
I think he's legendary regardless in Bond canon but that's me
that's true. If they come correct with Waltz doe
Yeah really looking forward to that. It's a lot of stuff dropping this summer that I'm interested in but none more than Spectre in November.
