I don't think you blow this up...You get a new damn coach and some front court beef...

as constructed, this is where they'll always end up....and depending on matchups...the finals...

This. We need a new Coach and better Role players and a Big man that doesnt have to score but actually has a real presence inside.

lol @ splitting up Bron, Wade and Bosh after year 2. Bosh was out for 9 games and we made it this far with 2 players having to do 99% of the work.

lol i said the exact same thing fam

i said phil would be the perfect fit but he not going to work with riley.

jerry sloan is they guy

i would be on the lookout for doc rivers if boston is broken up this off season.
Doc just signed a new contract in Boston so I cant see that happening.

and Jerry Sloan around all those black and latin people in Miami would be some good comedy.

My Pops Forever RIP
i know cause no other team in the league can offer miami or orlando that "young talent" in a top 5 market

i actually dont think the deron for d wade deal is that bad

works for both franchises.

I agree. It won't happen, but if worse comes to worst, Dwyane Wade in BK would get people out there.

to john goodman: that's a good package... for Miami.

People are just playing the odds. Plus the Heat's best player is a guy who is know for being mentally weak, especially when going up against this Boston team.

I don't hate on him NEARLY as much as most people but Lebron has been exposed as a frontrunner.

:what:

In what fukking universe can you not get enough in return for Wade or Bosh, but you can for Lebron?

Lebron is easier to build around than either of those two in addition to being more durable and a bigger draw.

I don't recall teams lining up to pursue Wade or Bosh when they were free-agents. Nobody wanted Bosh except Toronto and only Chicago showed interest in Wade. If you've already got an scoring 2 guard which most teams have Wade isn't going to be high on your list at his age. You'll get way more in return for Bron than Wade and Bosh combined because he makes players around him better. If they break up the Big 3 the only way to salvage such an debacle and possibly still contend is to trade Lebron.

i don't think the heat's role players are as terrible as some people make em out to be. like what a few people have said here in so many words, it comes down to the system (or coach) and whether it breeds high quality shots for all the players on the court.

like for instance, people say or said San Antonio had the best bench in the league or were at least one of the deepest teams in general... but really, on an individual basis, them nyggas they got aint much more talented than what Miami got

at the start of this season, if you offered to give haslem or boris diaw, most contenders would take haslem. if you offered battier or danny green, most contenders would take battier and most nyggas would ask if green wasnt that same nygga dancin with lebron all them years ago (all they knew him for). gary neal or mario chalmers? toss up. matt bonner or james jones?? toss up... bonner may be slightly better shooting 3s (i don't know) but they the exact same type of player. dajuan blair or ronnie turiaf/joel anthony?? whatever. capt jax or mike miller? that's the captain as he's a better defender and more durable but, offensively, they're both simply just spot up shooters with basic handles who can get past their man off a pump fake after the ball is swung there way.

In other words, we saw how useless (or miami heat'ish) the Spurs bench looked the other night when their own system broke down (or when they simply couldn't make shots) and it became up to Ginobli, Parker and Duncan to try and pull a Lebron/Wade/Bosh and do everything themselves. More often than not tho, Popovich seems to have a system that gets everybody comfortable and sure of where they need to be and what they need to do. On the other hand, more often than not, you don't really get that sense with Miami and the structure they have.
