No I don’t agree with like 85%+ of the stuff the federal government does. However, I live in the United States, and Assange has been (moreso in recent years) a direct threat to our democracy. You don’t have to be a fan on the US govt to think he’s a shytty person

I'm comparing the fact that the theft of secrets in order to shed light on impropriety are not noble when they are used for personal gain or for someone else's benefit.

Assange has rarely, if ever, acted in good faith in the name of transparency. He has always acted in benefit of hisself and at the behest of Russia and her allies. You don't have to read between the lines of what anyone says, look at his actions since becoming apart of WikiLeaks.
