At the end of the day the OG Xbox doesn't need to be emulated. Most of the games are on PC or cross plat.
Also the 3DS and PS3 emulator are damn near perfect. The 3DS emulator though requires too many runarounds for me tho

Getting the games yourself though, well we know how you can get them.
A lot of the games are in the "half-playable" or "intro" section but that's usually from earlier builds. A lot of them run really good, but they aren't flawless. The best way to see how a game runs really is to try it yourself and mess around with settings. I use it to play a few JRPGs I haven't had the chance to (currently Disgaea)
