Why XXXtentacion Is This Generation's Kurt Cobain

XXX didn't make enough of a cultural wave to be on Cobain's level...and this is coming from someone who thinks Cobain is a little overrated. Cobain wasn't even the best grunge-era singer. XXX will prolly keep having a cult following from weirdo hipster teens and 20-somethings, but that's about it.

Your comment is proof he wasnt this generations Kurt Cobain. Kurt Cobain got his credit immediately after he died.....It didnt take no few years. The closest Hip Hop was to a Kurt Cobain was 2pac.

Kurt wasn’t as controversial as XXX, everyone fukked with him

XXX got a lot of hate from women and old heads when he was around due to his style of music and his abuse allegations, of course they ain’t gon give the man credit

He isn’t Kurt obviously but everyone tryna ignore the impact this kid had on the industry is ignorant

I mean me as a Hip Hop head I recognize XXX....But when you talk about "Impact" I look at someone like Heavy D who had a bigger impact then XXX yet his impact goes totally ignored. There was a Heavy D thread made just the other day about how he doesn't get recognition and I was the only one who responded in it.....Yet this very thread about XXX is doing numbers. So technically this generation acknowledges XXX more then it does Heavy D who had a bigger impact so when u say XXXs impact isn't acknowledged yet he gets more attention then Heavy D, I say to myself "No...XXX gets the recognition he deserves."
