Sabretooth has never been faster than Wolverine. Also, Wolverine's healing factor is more efficient than Sabretooth's as well, so technically, the inferiority complex is probably on Sabretooth for that. Wolverine has been besting him more often in the last decade anyway, so ain't really better than him either. They go back and forth.

Also, Wolverine has mentioned that he has a distorted sense of loyalty to former brothers in arms, which is why he's never gone full blast on Sabretooth or Cyclops.

Wolverine also beat the piss out of Sabretooth so he wouldn't become Apocalypse's Horseman of Death, temporarily lobotomised him, and straight up murdered him with the Masamune.

He only did when he absolutely had to.

But of course, besides Uncle Ben, Marvel characters don't stay dead.

So I've been reading up on the dynamic between these two characters and to me it seems as though Sabretooth is just a bully with no real explanation for his constant harassment of Logan. This dude could be chilling at home watching Ice Road truckers and all of a sudden remember that it's Logan's birthday, meaning it's time to track him down and maim him as is tradition.

He just enjoys fukking with him.

Wolverine killed his real Dad after he killed his fake Dad, then he killed Rose after he escaped. After he escapes he goes feral, until Saul Creed (Sabretooth's brother) tracks him down.

Wolverine then kills Saul...I guess Sabretooth wants to almost kill hill once a year because death is too easy a punishment

But the background reason is that someone drew Wolverine and then found out there already was an unmasked Wolverine, so that dude's drawing became Sabretooth - that's why they're so similar. Originally they were gonna be father-son.

Lowkey, logan never really did anything to him besides not get killed lol. There was another episode of the cartoon where prof x went in his head and it was just a bunch of demons, just a straight maniac and logan is probably the only person he has memories of so he's obsessed with him
