No one is arguing that technology was "far greater in 1969 than today". NASA's budget was much bigger back then, and they actually had a supply chain built up to prioritize going to the Moon. Many diagrams for mission critical components weren't owned or controlled by NASA; they worked with aerospace engineers like Boeing to engineer proprietary components for the shuttle. Boeing doesn't manufacture those parts anymore, and has no incentive to. The computer technology of 1969 is also completely incompatible with technology of today. Those statements would have to be massively upgraded.

Many different reasons why we could go to the Moon in 1969, but we can't now.
