Black men who try to achieve something worthwhile outside of music or sports are ignored all the time. It's an ugly truth that most people don't like to discuss. People, particularly women, only get interested after those men make it.

Black women who are in med school or whatever with Black men them usually date them and eventually marry them. That's just how it goes - all stats seem to back this up. If those women are somehow getting ignored, it's likely because they aren't attractive or have a bad aura. BW choosing not to date these men in high school or college are in the same boat as all the others in ignoring him. Whether you're focusing on the future or not, you're ignoring him. Why would you want to ignore a man who has the same goals as you and is on the road to success

I have more interaction with other cultures on a daily basis than you've probably had in a lifetime, breh.

The Black community's culture isn't like that of other groups of people. Men doing productive things are valued early on, encouraged and invested in. So, they feel obligated to return the favor once they gain resources and attain a measure of success.

It's the opposite for the Black community. We reward and celebrate people who are doing non-productive things. Rappers, dope boys, nikkas with hoop dreams, etc. We invest heavily in those types. A young Black dude who is trying to be a software engineer or a medical doctor, we don't celebrate or invest as much. Black women aren't checking for those types until they start making $$$$$. That's when they want to take interest, and then complain when he doesn't want to share the fruits of his hard work with her.

The young Black dude who went against the grain and attained success feels no obligation to the Black community in terms of investing in it. He also feels no obligation to the Black woman, in general. She's just one type of woman among many he has to choose from.

Breh, that's not a black woman thing at all . I was an IT major in college where I was one of a handful of black students. They separated the math/IT/engineering majors to a separate campus so I was surrounded by them dudes my entire college career and ain't none of them dudes had bytches. Them dudes wasn't having chicks throw ass at them. shyt even when I look at the department at my job, these white dudes be having some real looking broads.

I'm not sure where this idea came from that somehow the intellectuals of other races are rolling in ass. That shyt isn't even remotely true.
