To me it's not that genuinely ugly people are tryin to jump on the colorism bandwagon, it's moreso that negative perception of darker skin on woman makes people judge them harsher. I've seen dudes give a pass to straight up hideous non-blk chicks just cuz and yet a blk chick has to be perfection.

Shyt is crazy. Sure there may be some people using colorism as a scapegoat but at the end of the day you can't act like people don't trip about this issue sometimes.

People of all shades face discrimination. Black kids are called darkness and shade and bullshyt like that. Light skinned kids are called albinos and half breeds.

I agree. I was just making an observation, as a woman, that men can be very harsh when it comes to looks. I didn't say that men are more harsh when it comes to looks. Men do deal with it better, women go for the jugular and know how to hurt someone better.
