I don't believe most reasonable people generalize atheist like this. Minorities are a reality for white people and so are social programs, which is why the talk of reverse racism is discussed.
Most people could give a sh1t about atheist. Most religious people aren't even really 'religious'. They say they believe in God. Even the ones that go to church, Mosque or whatever never think or speak of atheist.
Atheists defiantly generalize religious people. I think the reason is based on the assumption that a belief in the non-randomness and purpose for/of our universe is perceived as illogical.
In no way are atheist (in America) oppressed, lol. They are able to be very outspoken and even diss religion. The problem is the e-atheist, and media atheist. They are VERY obnoxious, fallacious in argument, prone to generalizations, and very verbally combative---- These characteristics stemming from the false belief that their 'belief system' is under attack (which it's not)
The bold is COMPLETE bullshyt. It's the total opposite of the truth. I've already posted a link to research showing atheists are the most disliked minority group in America.
Atheists are not able to be very outspoken and diss religion. Who are these imaginary media atheists you're talking about? There are people like Richard Dawkins, who they trot out like a circus animal to give the atheist perspective, but are there any talk shows hosts, media pundits, any popular household media personality whatsoever that is an open atheist and talks about it? I can't think of one. There's Bill Maher, who is a polarizing elitist on HBO who most people view negatively. There aren't any atheist Jay Lenos or Matt Lauers in America's living rooms.
Most atheists who are not famous live most of their lives muzzled and often keep quiet about their religious views because of fear of reactions from their co-workers, friends, families, etc. People have been disowned by their families and denied the right to adopt kids for being atheists.
And how are you going to say atheists defiantly generalize religious people while then proceeding to generalize atheists for the rest of your post, lol? Just say you say don't like atheists, bruh. No need to make shyt up.
