I feel bad for thinking this nowadays - and i might not have thought it a decade ago - but when i see grown ass cats out trying HARD to give out their CD's, tryna begin a career that will never ever come. I can't help but think damn if only these dudes put passion like that into some type of schooling :sadcam: Even a lil PTA associate degree or a trade. shyt would benefit themselves and their families way better than hustling CD's :snoop: Instead they gonna hustle CD's for 5 years and end up broke and shyt out of luck.

My breh had one mixtape that he was handing out, and after that he spent the vast majority of his time getting a web presence, meeting any and every DJ and rapper in Cleveland, and performing at any venue he could. A few years later he's on Sway :yeshrug:
There has to be more than just handing out CDs in the your hustle though, you have to have that SoundCloud, YouTuve, AudioMack, try to get on 2DopeBoyz, Tumblr and IG popularity, and show out anywhere and everywhere you can.

Why not just push your music on the internet?

Promoting your music on the internet can reach more people and can reach further than handing out cd's ever could
Put a professional business card with all of your information in the CD case.

Considering they havent made music on 8 track in decades, why do you want one :jbhmm:

I think you understand my point. I have a smartphone with 128 gigs on it and a streaming music service, what the fukk do I need with a shiny disk player?

Why would I buy those dinosaurs. Why would I deal with scratches, the space they take up, the cost, the incompatibility with my Bluetooth speaker, or the inability to play them on the go.

Your speaking as though you actually believe this is a sensible means of music consumption. I gotta be getting trolled :why:

125th is depressing now:francis:all the chain stores gone is the mom pops and the street hustle. its some good upgrades its not all bad but cacs have literally sucked the soul out of what once was the best strip in manhattan. Grant's Tomb will always be legendary:mjcry:

Breh..if they are in an area of decent foot travel and setup shop for 5-8hours, they could easily clock 5 figures in a year..And we not even talking 10-15k..like 20k and up..

this broad told me she gambled her rent money:wow:
Them nikkas got me a few years back on Jamaica Ave. I only lost $20 though but I was pissed. I was watching that ball like a hawk too.
