Lupe hides behind ambiguity so he doesn’t have to connect the dots on the shyt that he writes. That’s not elite in any writing field. The best authors will tell you that type of writing is pretentious and cringey. It’s MUCH more difficult to take difficult concepts and make them digestible to every single listener who hears them. That’s the mark of an elite writer. That’s why a guy like elzhi is a much better writer than Lupe.
Lupe makes everything cryptic cause he knows if he actually tried to be more straight forward his lack of narrative imagination would be exposed. This is the type of shyt Lupe writes that his stans try and convince us is genius. It’s not. It’s self serving dog shyt.

Listen to this song for example, he takes complex topics that are world events & local politics and raps about it with complete simplicity and extreme poetry.
