In 3 NBA finals

LeBron 31.9/10.3/9
KD 31.7/8.1/4.9

Gotta say...Going to stacked Warriors team really boosted KD's legacy. :ehh:

Everyone ignores how perfect that offense was for him.....it made a great player unstoppable. :hubie:

He's an all time great player and you could argue he's a better scorer than LeBron.

I'll just say its going to be interesting to see how (hopefully's he's healthy) how KD plays without Steph's gravity :yeshrug:

And thats with sharing the ball with steph.

Lebron will score cause he has a high usage rate due to running the offense but hes not a scorer hes a playmaker first.

Imagine kd had the ball in his hands allll game? He could average damn near 40

It would be inefficient and he'd blow 3 straight games against the Warriors. :ehh:

Like I said I can understand people saying he's a better scorer....going to GS made people think the gap was bigger when its really not.

You put LARRY BIRD in the top rung? :scust:

The same guy who never once scored 28ppg in a postseason even though he played in the high-pace, low-defense 1980s?

The same guy who once averaged 15ppg on 40% shooting in a Finals, including 8, 12, and 8 points in three consecutive Finals games?

Larry was never anywhere near as prolific as scorer as Bron has been.

LeBron average 29ppg in the playoffs hitting 54% of his twos and 33% of his threes.
Larry average 23ppg in the playoffs hitting 49% of this twos and 32% of this threes.

And LeBron did it against better defenses.

Ya'all hitting that magic era juice way too strong.
Yes Larry Bird

A dude who averaged 50/40/90 in the playoffs en route to an NBA championship. Dude could score in a myriad of ways and was one of the most skilled offensive players to ever touch the ball.

Of course he wasn’t the physical phenom LeBron was nor did he monopolize the offense to the degree he does, so of course when you compare their #s in a vacuum his scoring average isn’t as gaudy. But we all know which one of them had the jump shot and perimeter game you HAD to respect, superior post game, a dead eye shooter & money from the FT line.

So yes, in terms of proficiency Larry Bird is an all time great scorer of the ball. He’s not quite MJ or KD but proficiency and skill-wise he’s up there.

Ninjas show their lack of real life basketball knowledge in scorer debates. Hoopers aren’t mainly talking about simply putting the ball in the basket. It’s about skills.
