WHY is/was Edge better overall than Christian?

I think wwe favors guys who do "serious" promos. Think HHH, jericho (highlight reel to making HBK cockeyed) Angle (ruthless aggression era), Orton (after his cocky heel gimmick) and also edge (from pictures to rated R superstar). Christian was a chicken shyt heel and after his tna stint he could cut those serious promos WWE likes in top stars, on average. Wwe is a promotion that has always taking itself a bit too seriously and thats part of why they get behind some wrestlers more than others.

As soon as Christian got sauced up with the captain charisma gimmick back in '03 he was money.

Edge was just taller with a slightly better physique at the time.
