Oh and I'm excited for this movie the only legit concern I have is the interpretation of Dr. Doom in this film the whole hacker thing just rubs me the wrong way... at least Toby Kibell (Koba from Dawn of the Apes) is playing him maybe it can work.

Dog, stop bein stupid :comeon:

If the hero was a certain race in the comics and the cartoons then thats what he needs to be in the films for authenticity reasons..

I thought makin Idris Elba Heimdall was wack too but whatever..

War Machine was black in the comics and cartoons and he was black in the movie the way it ought to be :stopitslime:

Wallace playin Torch is some wack, sloppy ass, token MTV affirmative action dumb shyt done by stupid white people at Fox who dont understand the characters.

It doesn't work stupid that's the point.

Marvel would of never did this..

The movie will be ass

Counter your own argument brehs

Can someone point me to the thread about Tom Hardy playing Bane in the Dark Knight rises...a comic book character who's origin story involved him being born and raised in a south american country and cover art clearly show's him to be some sort of latino?

Thanks :mjpls:

My only issue with them casting Michael B. Jordan in the role was that they went ahead and cast that plain looking white broad as Sue Storm. Why not just go all the way in and cast another black woman as Sue Storm or don't go that route. One of the main important relationships in FF4 mythology is the blood sibling relationship between Johnny and Sue. fukk that whole adopted nonsense they might run with. Shoulda just cast a black female to play Sue Storm.

Everybody is white but we'll just make the Torch black for no reason at all

Yup, Bane is supposed to be Latino / South American. Didn't hear anyone complain. I wonder why:sas2:

Marvel Studios did the same shyt with Sif and Heimdall. It irked me for a minute but whatever. Marvel's first family getting that treatment via Fox is more egregious though

I dont think Marvel would of made Torch black though.. Heimdall is not a well known character like that so they got a little cute with him but no way they would of made Torch black and the rest of the Fantastic crew white..

I know they would never do this but it would be interesting if sue storm was adopted by a black family.

So now you're cherry picking arguments breh. Dudes have pointed out two instances where a character's race was changed..and plenty of guys have pointed out in here the reason it was changed according to the director
