Ttitanfall looks like COD if Activision had given Infinity Ward more freedom to do new things with it.

Plus it reminds some people of those old crazy multiplayer FPS's like Tribes and Quake.

medias not even hyping the game like that :heh: its the gaming community hyping it up

which is the first time in a long while that its the opposite of every other FPS coming out that is driven by the media hype machine.. Which is buildingi t MORE hype because it has the actual interest of gamers and not just magazines.. which is making more people interested (snowball effect)

#1 lol @ magazines in 2014

Titanfall took over 60 awards at its E3 2013 reveal,[32] including a record-breaking six E3 Critics Awards: Best in Show, Best Original Game, Best Console Game, Best PC Game, Best Action Game, and Best Online Multiplayer.[33] The game also won Best in Show from IGN,[34]Destructoid,[35]Game Informer,[36] and Electronic Gaming Monthly.[37] Reporting for Polygon at E3, Arthur Gies praised the "dynamism" between the Titan's brute force and the pilots' objective-based stealth as the game's greatest asset.[7] IGN's Ryan McCaffrey declared Titanfall both "Microsoft's killer app" and multiplayer gaming's "next big thing", adding, "You will buy an Xbox One for Titanfall, and you should."[38]Forbes's Erik Kain similarly predicted the game to be a "huge selling point" for the Xbox One.[39] The game won Best Next Generation Console Game and Best Xbox Game at Gamescom 2013.[40] The game was introduced to Japan at the 2013 Tokyo Game Show,[41] where the response was "overwhelmingly positive"[18] and it won a Future Award.[42]Titanfall won "Most Anticipated Game" at VGX 2013.[43] Many reviewers considered Titanfall to be the next step for the first-person shooter genre.[38][39][44]

Tha Land
Your entitled to that your just wrong
So every game with mechs looks like lost planet?

:upsetfavre: It looks like halo 4 then?
Not in art style but in game play yes. No falling damage, lots of hip firing, agile fast paced characters. Lots of verticality in the levels, strategic level design made to even the playing field between on foot soldiers and those in vehicles(mechs). Lots of strafing and jumping. Futuristic weapons and equipment.

You see how that works. I can give real thought out reasons for why my opinion is such. The rest of you just run in with nonsense and no logical way to back it up.

Sony stans :heh:
