:thefucc:

so MAUCE wasnt having 15 and 17 TD seasons before the stricter rule enforcement?

MAUCE was a HOFer based off his Minnesota days alone.

And he scored most of his TDs before that.

He certainly was, and he is definitely a HOFer i`m not saying he isn't so why go in that direction?

I love how people get offended when you say someone is 3rd best EVER and try and bring up stats like you're not giving the man credit.

dont be stupid and skirt from the issue here. You just said Randy MAUCE is soft and compiled his numbers after the 2004 WR contact rules re-enforcement. It was a false statement and if I didnt correct you on that you would have gone around parading that dumbass statement as a fact.

and MAUCE>TO

Randy got that TD record post-Colts bytching and having the rules changed.

So correct yourself young man.

Rice didn't play in this soft ass no cover league we have now.

So Moss wasn't beasting prior to the Colts bytching?

:what:

He was great, truly great.

Where did I say he wasn't playing well before then?

Still his most prominent season was post Colts crying and the rule changes, that's a fact.

Not to mention Jerry's consistency and him playing great up until his 40's. Jerry's whole career was in a much tougher era.

I said he didn't do those aforementioned things well. He didn't go over the middle with great frequency, he wasn't a great run blocker and he wasn't as consistent as Jerry was.

Those are all facts.

Do you think it's cool to misspell Moss by the way?

Jesus. This is why:

Rice - 1549 receptions. 22,895 yards. 197 receiving touchdowns.
Randy - 969 receptions. 15,112 yards. 155 receiving touchdowns.

In what logical way can you determine that Randy is better than Jerry. Randy DEFINITELY had more physical gifts, but Jerry's numbers DWARF Randy's. Randy's statement is based on ego and that's why he's getting killed. It's not even close and if he looked at the numbers like Jerry said he wouldn't be spewing stuff like this

I didn't even want to bring up the career stats, because that was too easy.

These dudes living in the Madden world, never watched a game from the 80`s/early 90`s and saying Moss better than Rice

Jerry Rice is truly considered the greatest player ever. At any position.

His records absolutely dwarf anyone even close to him, and he played in a much tougher era for WR's.
Randy got that TD record post-Colts bytching and having the rules changed.

I am not an idiot. This shyt may work with your dumbass social circle, but it wont work for me.

Randy MAUCE ate good going over the middle throughtout his career.

And he was a very good run blocker. But I also never suggested he was better than Rice.

Do you think it's cool to misspell Moss by the way?
yes, his name is MAUCE. MAUCE!

While i dont agree that Moss was better then Rice even though Randy has more talent he wasnt as consistent didnt go over the middle much and took actually years off

With that said people getitng on him for his comments and everything he does and says is scrutnized and they saying he wasnt as classy as Jerry and other garbage

Do people realize on the low Rice was the biggest dikk[PAUSE] going?

By all accounts he was a huge primadonna..he cried that Montana won mvp's over him..he complained his name wasnt mentioned enough times in articles[he actually counted the exact number]

He did the same shyt but worse that these ahole wr's do today excpet he didnt do endzone dances so they treat Jerry like he was some great classy team player
Reread you first paragraph then ask yourself that question again.

You basiclly stated why this should'nt even be a thread kinda.

If randy and rice had the same stats, but you attribute Randy's flaws (which you stated) that in and of it self is your anwser. Took years off:heh:. That's says alot more than just being inconsistent.

By they do you mean white media?

And how was he worse than the wide receivers of today; chad, randy, t.o. etc.

yes, his name is MAUCE. MAUCE!

Saying somebody played in a tougher era isn't suggesting the other person is soft. Tougher as in tougher to throw the ball and get yards through the air.

Randy Moss could do those things, but he didn't do them as well as Jerry/TO. And Jerry/TO didn't visibly quit like Moss has done numerous times.

That's my biggest beef with Randy, is the half assing it at times.

You brought up the era Jerry played in as a slight towards Moss and it made no sense.

Randy was on the highest scoring offense in league history prior to the Colts bytching you cited

stop being stupid, that is exactly what you were doing.

And on top of that, it was an untrue statement since the best of MAUCE happened before 2004.

The irony is that WRs before 1978 would probably throw shade at Jerry Rice's numbers and tell him to do it when cornerbacks could push you into the sidelines all the way down the field. But like most of our sports, the NFL is only thought of after 1980, with a few exceptions.

Randy Moss could do those things, but he didn't do them as well as Jerry/TO. And Jerry/TO didn't visibly quit like Moss has done numerous times.

That's my biggest beef with Randy, is the half assing it at times.

I never meant it as a slight, just the mere fact that Rice's whole career was played in a tougher era, PLUS HIS NUMBERS, this shouldn't even be a question to who was the better player.

Funny thing is, let me ask you, who do you think is the better WR?
