Ok, I was about to say….. ain’t no way in hell GOT started in 2017 with 8 season and sometimes like 2 year hiatus.

Then I stated thinking about shows now that have like 10 season and only been around 4 years.

I swear The Masked Singer started like 2 years ago and they at something like Season 6

Prestige dramas been lazy as fukk with keeping a consistent schedule since "Sopranos". It's damn near expected for them to take a couple years off.

"Better Call Saul" season 5 ended early 2020 and it won't be back until 2022.

One reason why things may seem a bit slow in this forum is that there really isn't an all encompassing pop culture show like Game of Thrones on the air right now.

Some of the posters who heavily contributed to this sub either tapered off or got banned due to related matters.

I wouldn’t mind it being more active here but the thought has me hesitant at the same time. I look over at TLR’s discussions on film/shows and it’s a night and day difference with all of the low quality posting that takes place over there.

I don't really reply much tbh. I just look for a thread on something I saw and give daps to people that thought about it the same way I did, or people that give a good argument to change my initial thoughts.

Edit: Im also staying away from the Spider-Man and Matrix threads til I see the movies.

EDIT - In all seriousness, I factor it to people not going to movies as much as they used to. I was trying to think of the most active topics that I've participated in in TFR recently and I've only been in the Spider-Man thread and the Chucky thread a lot. I know I'll be getting back into the Cobra Kai thread later this month when it drops.

I was trying to think about all that is supposed to come out next year, and I can hardly think of anything off the top of my head, except for the usual fare of big budget blockbusters (Dr. Strange, Jurassic World, Halloween Ends, Sonic 2.) I'm hoping more people will come back and start discussing film and tv shows again, because I think this one of the best spots on TheColi. I post in TLR a lot, but after a certain point, I have to stop reading that section of the forum, because of well-known reasons that have already been stated here.

I feel like that whole thing caused me to stay out of TFR for a while. It was a real turn off. I had to put a lot of posters on ignore because of how obnoxious and grating that whole Marvel/DC shyt went. Comic book stan wars. Does that Yo Yo Ma idiot still post here, or did he get bushed?
